SMCI Davao Chapter - NETS 2011
NETCASTERS SOULWINNING COURSE 2011
Praise the Lord for a fruitful and successful NETS last Oct.23-28 held at Hope Mountain in Davao City. This year we had the biggest delegates coming from 5 cities such as GenSan, Digos, Davao, Panabo, Tagum and Mintal District. We had blessed with 42 trainees and 20 trainors who also undergone HERMENUETICS CLASS. In our catching and catching (OJT-actual soulwinning) for 5 days, we had the total of 223 gospel opportunities, 536 had heard the gospel, and 437 professed Jesus Christ as their Savior. As a result, we had heard many open doors for home bible studies and even students trained were eager to preach the gospel to their loved ones.

CEBU NETS Seminar Experience: A Testimony
The NETS was a blessed experience. It was the very first evangelism training-seminar that I attended. The Netcaster's Approach was very new to me, the material was very thorough, concise and complete. Its a very good tool for full presentation of the gospel. My favorite part during lecture time is when the trainees are to ask questions, share experiences and give suggestions because it is when I learn more. It was not only an evangelism training but a time of renewing of our commitment to sharing the wonderful message of the gospel, and also a time of fellowship with fellow Christians who share the same burden of sharing God's love.

SMCI Revival 2011 Experience: A Testimony
Here is a testimony of what the Lord did in the life of Karen T. Canales (from CDO) after the 4th SMCI Revival Camp, held last May 16-21, 2011 at the Calvary Chapel Training Center, Dumaguete City:
“My desire is to walk with Christ and be my best for Him, but old habits of sin nag at me. How can I ditch the old and put on the new self? How can I be comfortable with a holy lifestyle?
It was only until I understood the Spirit-filled life and the Surrendered life through the series of preaching during the revival camp. I learned that it is an act of will to choose to let God have and use every key in my life-- my dreams, my ambitions, my loved ones, my desires, my bad habits, etc. Now, thanks be to God, I have a proper view of Him, and I found myself ready for action. By the grace of God, I am ready to initiate in our world and make a difference. The clearer my vision of God, the clearer my vision will be of myself and life. Hope is my key ingredient of sanity in an insane world. I find hope in God’s Word. It is my prayer that I will continue to live for Him and not for myself. ”
**Karen is already a believer when we met her in CDO last February 2011. She got saved in October 2008. After the Revival Camp, she expressed her heart to volunteer in helping us in the ministry here in SMCI Cagayan de Oro City. We praise the Lord for what He has done in the life of this soul! To him be the glory!
